Change your thoughts and you change your world. Norman Vincent Peale
Changing your mindset is one of the hardest things to do but it is also one of the most rewarding things you can do. Your thoughts are the ones that can create opportunities for you, your thoughts are the ones that can make your dreams come true, your thoughts are extremely powerful.
I am currently in the process of changing my mindset and the results have left me both shocked and in awe of the power of my mind. We are all carrying powerful tools(brains) that we sometimes do not take full advantage of and I decided to change this by undertaking the following ‘challenges’ , I urge you all to start one of these today! It will be one of the best decisions of your life.
21 day challenge
I sat down, journaled and came to the conclusion that I wanted to change all my thoughts to be positive on a daily basis, so I started researching and fell upon the 21 day habit change challenge. It has been proven that if you undertake a task daily after 21 days it will become a natural habit, the hardest part of this challenge is getting rid of the old habits. But so far so good , other habits I want to include in my daily life are: exercising daily, daily bible study and prayers, eating healthily. After this I will be undertaking the 100 day challenge… I will let you all know how that goes!
we are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.
WHERE DO I START. I have been doing daily affirmations for a while now at first I must admit I was somewhat uncomfortable looking at myself in the mirror and telling myself out loud ‘you are great’. This is not to say I didn’t think this before but there is a huge difference between thinking it to yourself and saying it to yourself out loud and putting it out in the atmosphere… safe to say I now SHOUT at myself daily! lol please start doing this daily it changes your thoughts and lifts your confidence!
I have listed below a couple of videos that have inspired me! check them out and let me know what you think!
